Shelfie: Sort & Match · Last updated: October 29, 2026

This policy explains how Shelfie: Sort & Match (the "Game"), published by ibbie ("we", "us"), handles information. We keep it simple: we don't run servers, we don't have accounts of our own, and we don't sell your data.

What stays on your device

Your progress, stars, coins, boosters, lives, settings, purchase status, the player name and avatar you choose in the Game, your play statistics and a small log of level attempts (used to tune level difficulty) are stored on your device. We never receive them. Uninstalling the Game deletes them, unless you turned on cloud save (below). If you sign in to Google Play Games, your player name and avatar are also shown to other players with your scores (see Leaderboards below).

Advertising

The Game shows ads through Google AdMob: a banner during levels, full-screen ads between some levels, and reward videos that you choose to watch. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect:

Google uses this data as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and some US states), the Game asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings > Privacy choices. You can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

Buying Remove Ads or subscribing to VIP turns off the banner and the ads between levels. Reward videos are always optional.

Purchases

In-app purchases and the VIP subscription are processed by Google Play. We never see your payment details. Google tells the Game only whether a purchase succeeded, so it can unlock what you bought. To block cheating, the Game checks Google's signature on each purchase, and checks that the installed copy of the Game hasn't been modified. Both checks run on your device and send nothing to us. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Cloud save (optional)

Where the Game offers it, if you sign in with Google Play Games from Settings, the Game saves a copy of its save data (your level, coins, boosters, settings, player name and purchase status) in your Google Play Games account, so you can restore your progress on a new device. This data is stored by Google and is not shared with us. You can delete it, or stop using cloud save, in the Google Play Games app or your Google account settings.

Leaderboards (optional)

If you sign in with Google Play Games, the Game posts your scores (levels cleared, total stars and best combo) to Google Play Games leaderboards. With each score it sends the avatar you picked and, once you choose a player name in the Game, that name, so that other players' games can show them next to your scores on the Game's rankings. Until you choose a name, the rankings show your Play Games name. Google stores your scores and shows them to other players according to your Play Games profile settings; we don't receive them.

Player names must follow the User Agreement. The Game turns down names with rude words, links or contact details, and any player can report a name they see. A report hides the name on the reporting player's device and opens their email app with a message to us containing the name and the reported player's Play Games player ID. We use reports only to review the name, and we may hide a player from the Game's leaderboards.

Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
